                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 1100
                   BLOCK OF MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD, BEING ON THE
                   SOUTHEAST LINE OF MOUNTAIN CREEK ROAD SOUTHWEST
                   OF VALLEY BRIDGE DRIVE, FROM R-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 1100 block of
                Mountain Creek Road, being on the southeast line of
                Mountain Creek Road southwest of Valley Bridge
                Drive.	Part of an unplatted tract, being part of
                the property described in deed book 2586, page 91,
                ROHC.  Said part of tract begins on the southeast
                line of Mountain Creek Road some 745.45 feet
                southwest of the intersection of the southeast line
                of Mountain Creek Road with the southwest line of
                Valley Bridge Drive, thence southeast 150 feet,
                thence northeast 100 feet parallel to, and at all
                points 150 feet southeast of, the southeast line of
                Mountain Creek Road, thence southeast 500 feet,
                thence southwest 400 feet parallel to, and at all
                points 650 feet southeast of, the southeast line of
                Mountain Creek Road, thence northwest 400 feet,
                thence northeast 250 feet parallel to, and at all
                points 250 feet southeast of, the southeast line of
                Mountain Creek Road, thence northwest 250 feet to
                the southeast line of Mountain Creek Road, thence
                northeast 50 feet with Mountain Creek Road to the
                point of beginning.  Tax Map No. 117C-A-9 (part).
               
               
         from R-1 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
